Hoffer Elementary School hosted its first annual Career Day on April 15 in the school’s Multi-Purpose Room (MPR), providing students with an engaging opportunity to explore a variety of professions and learn directly from community professionals.

Students from Banning Unified School District showcased their curiosity, creativity, and scientific thinking at the 2026 Riverside County Science and Engineering Fair, held at the Riverside Convention Center on February 28, 2026. The annual event brought together hundreds of student researchers from across Riverside County to present projects spanning numerous scientific disciplines.

Families of current fifth-grade students are invited to attend the Incoming Palominos Parent Meeting at Nicolet Middle School. This meeting will share important information about the transition to sixth grade, academic expectations, student support services, and what to expect in the upcoming school year.

On Thursday, August 7, 2025, the Banning Unified School District joyfully welcomed students back for the first day of the 2025–2026 school year. From transitional kindergarteners walking onto campus for the very first time to seniors in the Class of 2026 stepping into their final year, excitement was in the air across all school sites.
