Dear Hoffer Parents and Students,
I hope you are all doing well and staying safe. I know we are all going through a difficult time right now and it can be scary. As the school counselor at Hoffer, I would like to extend my support to you and your family. I will be giving access to videos, articles, and lessons that can provide skills and techniques that teach how to cope and handle our current situation with the coronavirus and the closures of schools. These resources will be provided on our school website under Counseling Services. Students will have access to social-emotional learning (SEL) videos, books and links to help them cope with this pandemic. I will do my best during our time off to update and add on to the website so that I am doing my best to support our Hoffer community. Although we are not able to meet in person, I am so grateful that we have access to meet virtually (by videoconferencing or phone calls) during this time.
I miss all of you very much and would be happy to meet with you for a conversation given permission from your parents. The following are a few ways we can still connect during our isolation/Summer.
