Dear Hoffer Community,

Dear Hoffer Community,

Welcome back to the start of an exciting new school year! As the proud Principal of Hoffer Elementary School, I am filled with immense joy and anticipation as we embark on a journey of growth and learning this 2024-25 school year. We have some amazing things planned at Hoffer and are excited to create new memories and experiences with our students, their families, and our Banning community.

Here is a little more about me! I bring more than 16 years of experience in the field of Education. I began my career as an Instructional Assistant in 2008 for the Los Angeles County Office of Education, then became a Specialized Academic Instructor in 2012 for the Morongo Unified School District, then moved to administration in 2018 for the Beaumont Unified School District. In 2018, I also started teaching for the University of Redlands in the Education Specialist department as an Adjunct Professor. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Human Services and Management from University of Phoenix, and my Master's Degree in Special Education from Azusa Pacific University.

This year, Banning Unified School District has chosen the theme "We Are Banning" to highlight the deep impact coming together can have on our school's success. Just as a ripple begins with a single drop, our collective commitment and dedication will create waves of positive change within Hoffer Elementary School and Banning community.

To our wonderful families, you play a pivotal role in making this theme come alive at Hoffer. Let's work together to inspire, support, and encourage your student’s educational journey. Your involvement, both in and out of school, empowers our students to excel academically and become well-rounded individuals.

As we progress through the academic year, let’s keep the spirit of "We Are Banning" at the forefront. Together, let’s kindle the passion for learning, the flame of empathy, and the fire of determination in the hearts of our students, ensuring that they grow not only in knowledge but also in character.

I am truly grateful to have the opportunity to work in such a dedicated and compassionate community of families, staff, and students. Together, we will continue to nurture an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to strive for excellence.

Please do not hesitate to call me should you need, either by email (mpramirez@banning.k12.ca.us) or phone (951-922-0257).

Wishing you all a year filled with inspiration, growth, and unforgettable achievements!

With warm regards,

Principal Margarita Ramirez "We Are Banning"
