One of our 4th grade classrooms at Hoffer created a quilt for Hispanic Heritage Month. Each student was assigned a square to color and then they put them together to create a quilt. They learned about each person on the quilt and discussed the importance of their contributions to our world. What a wonderful project! #BanningUSD

Hello Parents and Guardians,
My name is Andres Keymolent and I am the Orchestra Director at Banning Unified School District. I hope you are all doing well and ready for orchestra to start.
First thing, I do apologize for not having some clear information. I have been trying to figure our new website and app to send messages and have been unsuccessful. I think we have finally figured out the communications on the app for me.
Orchestra will begin next week, the week of the 25th. The Week of 09/25/2023 will have all four schools begin orchestra. The schedule will be:
Monday: Hemmerling at 10am
Tuesday: Hoffer at 10am
Thursday: Central at 10am
Friday: Cabazon at 10am
This will be the schedule of the elementary schools throughout the school year. All students should bring their instruments at their respective days. Students should bring all materials for class each week at their respective days.
Please note, if the students do not have instruments, they are still encouraged to attend. We have three vendors for students and parents/guardians to rent instruments. They are Beaumont Music Center, Nick Rail, and Bertrand’s Music.

In the next few days, you should be receiving an invitation in your email to set up a guardian account. In the invitation it will provide step by step instructions to create an account. Meet Jose Sandoval, Teacher at Banning High School. His feature was submitted by his colleague Svetlana Abdulkarim. She says, " Jose Sandoval is a physics teacher with the Academy of Business. He does a lot of community service that benefits the high school and Banning. I've also seen him cleaning up our campus with 2 students.
